Nature Landscape Illustration Workshop

Join us for the Nature Landscape Illustration Workshop and discover how art can deepen your connection to the outdoors. Slow down, look closely, and explore the beauty of the natural world through landscape sketching at Dune Harbor Park. During this Nature Landscape Illustration Workshop, local naturalist and artist Spencer High will guide participants through the basics of observing and illustrating natural landscapes. We'll let curiosity lead the way as we sketch shapes, textures, patterns, and scenery found along nearby trails and habitat areas. No artistic experience is necessary! This program is designed for beginners and anyone interested in creativity, nature, and community. Drawing materials and clipboards will be provided, but participants are welcome to bring their own sketchbooks or favorite art supplies. We'll meet at the Seminole Lot before heading out to explore the surrounding landscape for inspiration. Please bring water, comfortable walking shoes, and sun protection. This event is open to the general public and is perfect for anyone looking to enjoy a relaxed evening of art, observation, and appreciation for the natural world.
