From Spain to Cuba. A South Beach Chamber Ensemble Concert

The South Beach Chamber Ensemble returns to the Coral Gables Museum for the 2026-2027 season with works spanning Spanish classical traditions and Cuban danzas. The repertoire includes Manuel Canales' String Quartet in D Major, Op. 1 (1782), Joaquín Turina's String Quartet in D Minor, Op. 4, de la guitarra (1911), and Ignacio Cervantes' Danzas Cubanas, reflecting the European and Afro-Cuban influences that shaped 19th-century Cuban musical culture.
