Join FreeThe City of Kenosha’s two outdoor public swimming pools – Washington Park Pool, 1821 Washington Road, and Anderson Park Pool, 8730 22nd Ave. – will officially open for the 2026 summer season on June 16, offering residents and visitors a safe and refreshing way to cool off. Both pools will operate Tuesday through Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. They will be closed on Mondays and on Independence Day (July 4). Each facility provides a variety of family-friendly amenities. Washington Park Pool features a zero-depth entry pool with interactive water features, a 200-foot waterslide, a drop slide, a diving board, deck chairs and umbrella tables. Anderson Park Pool includes a large main pool, a tot pool with a small children’s slide, two full-size waterslides, a diving board, a splash pad, lockers, deck chairs and umbrella tables. Swim coupons Swim coupons for children or adults are available for $25 and are valid for five visits. Daily pool fees are $6 for individuals, age 3 and up, and $5 for adults over 60. The daily fee for a non-swimming adult is $3. Children ages 2 and younger are admitted free with a paid adult. Life Jackets U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jackets are permitted in both pools. Rentals are available for $2 at each facility for children up to 50 pounds. Please note: life jackets are not permitted on waterslides. Season Passes Season passes are available for purchase online or in person at the Washington Municipal Golf Course, 2205 Washington Road. Group passes for up to five people are $175 for residents. Group passes for up to five people for non-residents are $225. City Splash Pads In addition to the pools, Kenosha offers splash pads open daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., providing a fun and free way for children and families to stay cool during the summer months. The splash pad at Horizon Park, 6598 112th Ave., is now open. The splash pad at Southport Marina Park, 5707 Third Ave., and Schulte Park, 4400 87th Place, are temporarily closed for equipment repairs. The Anderson Park splash pad, 8730 22nd Ave., will open June 16.
