NAMI Peer support groups offer respect, understanding, encouragement, and hope for people living with mental illness. Free and confidential. RSVP in advance: 808-631-4982 or kauai@namihawaii.org NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, is the nation's largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. NAMI Kauai is an affiliate of NAMI Hawaii. NAMI Kauai and dedicated volunteer members and leaders work tirelessly to raise awareness and provide essential education, advocacy and support group programs for people in our community living with mental illness and their loved ones. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required. All programs are subject to change.
