Diocesan Wedding Anniversary Liturgy-Johnstown

Couples celebrating 1, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, and 60+ years of marriage in 2026, along with their families, are invited to attend the annual Diocesan Wedding Anniversary Liturgy with Bishop Mark. A Mass will be held at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament in Altoona on Sunday, September 13, and at Saint John Gualbert Cathedral in Johnstown on Sunday, September 20. Couples may choose which Mass they would like to attend. Both Masses will begin at 2:00 p.m. Bishop Mark will be the celebrant and homilist at both liturgies, where he will give the couples a special blessing and affirm them in their sacramental commitment to one another. Reservations are required and can be made through any parish in the Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown. Couples are asked to register for either the Altoona or Johnstown celebration through their parish by Friday, September 11.
