About This Event

Artists Greg Latch and John Gurbacs present Different Perspectives in the Corridor Gallery. Hot Foot by John Gurbacs John Gurbacs: I am interested in showing the similarities and contrasts between natural and man-made forms. I look for connections and relationships between forms and scenes. By realizing these concerns, recognition occurs both visually and physiologically. This helps define, for me, a fractal-like oneness as is found in Buddhist mandala paintings, which are a source of inspiration for me. Ybor Nights by Greg Latch Greg Latch: My work grows from the energy of daily life and the complexity of human experience. Working in Ybor City, I'm surrounded by movement, history, and people, and that constant activity becomes part of the painting process. Painting is a process of discovery. Images appear, disappear, and transform as the work develops. The final piece holds traces of that evolution -- a record of movement, emotion, and time.
