Author Talk with Virginia Fortner

Meet Kohala-based writer Virginia Fortner, author of At the Edge and A Design of His Own. Fortner will discuss birthing her latest book, China Conundrum, and how she developed her first two books. She also will share excerpts about writing books and appreciating them as readers. Fortner is a lifetime educator and traveler who has spent time on every continent. Her poems and short stories have been published in writers journals, newspapers, and several book collections. Her recent mixed-genre fiction, China Conundrum, braids a travelog, teaching adventures, and political contrasts with uncertain romance. Fortner will be available to sign copies of her books after the program.
