Cheney Lake Park of the Year Celebration

Join us from 4:00-6:00 PM on August 13 at Cheney Lake Park for a special community celebration honoring the park as the 2026 Park of the Year! Come explore and learn about the recently completed shoreline restoration project led by the Youth Employment in Parks program, and discover the migratory birds that call Cheney Lake home during the summer--and how we can all help protect them. Enjoy food, fun, and time outdoors while connecting with neighbors and celebrating this beloved neighborhood park. All are welcome--bring your friends, family, and community spirit for an evening at the lake!
