SUMMARY:ALLAH - LAS w/ special guest Sam Blasucci
DESCRIPTION:Allah-Las make music that resists easy placement. Since forming in Los Angeles in 2008\, the band has steadily sidestepped trends\, creating a sound rooted not in nostalgia\, but in feelinstinctual\, atmospheric\, and often instrumental in its storytelling\, even when words are present. Their records suggest a band uninterested in spectacle\, and focused instead on tone\, pacing\, and space. The easy friendship that blossomed when three of the four band members were working at Amoeba Music has evolved into a lauded body of work grounded in storytelling and discovery. Their first album for Mexican Summer\, 2016s Calico Review\, was a cinematic exploration of their hometown of Los Angeles\, while their sophomore effort for the label\, 2019s LAHS\, saw them looking farther abroad\, turning their gaze outward and transmitting sound from a place not found on any map. Its a similar fascination with vast listening\, inner and outer traveling\, and collective imagining that steers Sirenas\, their first fully instrumental expression. Rather than looking to their environment or farther abroad beyond the horizon\, Sirenas finds the band directing their gaze deeply within to shape songs through intuition and feeling rather than any set concept. Ideas of unseen frequencies and interdimensional transmissions laid thefoundation for the music\, drawing from the spiritual and cosmic philosophies of visionaries such as Iasos and Brian Eno\, both of whom framed both creativity and composition as a deeply receptive state.Riding these psychic waves\, the band approached the recording process without any defined concept or destination\, instead creating space to jam\, to ramble\, and to follow any and every impulse\, no matter how strange it seemed or where it led. The sessions embraced detours and drift\, altered recording approaches\, and looser songwriting structures. Ideas were captured instinctively\, without overthinking whether they aligned with their previous work. This same desire also saw the band expanding its palette in the studio\, introducing new instrumentation and textures\, including flute from California-based musician Clay Finch of Mapache\, that pushed their sound in unexpected directions.

SUMMARY:Arise Roots w/ special guest True Zion
DESCRIPTION:Arise Roots was formed in 2010 with the intent to create a new and unique roots-reggae band which reflects their collective passions. Rising up from the streets of Los Angeles\, the band had one goal: create a fresh reggae sound with a modern feel that appeals to all walks of life without compromising the true feel of roots reggae. The all-star cast of musicians was recruited for their talent and appreciation of classic reggae styles. After a vigorous search\, Arise Roots became host to six extremely talented individuals who had already made a name for themselves performing in numerous local reggae bands as well as backing various reggae legends touring through Southern California with veteran Hashim Scorpion Russell holding steady on drums\, Rudy Covarrubias towering on bass\, and Todd Johnson adding his trademark mix of keys and harmonies\, the band had secured a dynamic rhythm section. Chris Brennan was called upon for his impeccable rhythm guitar and soulful backing vocals while lead guitarist Robert Sotelo adds his unmistakable signature style of riffs and licks. Lead vocalist\, Karim Israel coming from a lineage of Jamaican vocalists\, was added to the group\, providing his raw\, sultry flow which pairs perfectly with his powerful lyrics. In 2010\, the band released their first EP titled\, Lay Your Guns Down. They later received recognition with the 2013 release of their first full-length album\, Moving Forward. In 2014 Arise Roots linked with E.N Young at Imperial Sound Recording Studio to record Love and War. In 2016 the popular single Rootsman Town featuring Capleton was released independently with a music video that garnered millions of views on YouTube and continues to be one of their more popular songs. In the midst of a worldwide pandemic\, Arise Roots released their highly anticipated LP Pathways in June of 2020 on Ineffable Records. Touching on everything from social issues to love songs and cementing their place in the reggae scene with their hit single Come and Get It\, the album was a huge success for the band. The highly praised album features some of the biggest names in reggae such as Kyle McDonald of Slightly Stoopid\, Eric Rachmany of Rebelution\, Lutan Fyah\, Nattali Rize and Turbulence. Throughout their time together\, Arise Roots has shared the stage with artists such as Barrington Levy\, Steel Pulse\, Capleton\, Sister Carol\, Gramps Morgan\, Don Carlos\, The Wailers\, Luciano\, Matisyahu\, Midnite\, Michael Rose\, Gondwana\, Cultura Profetica\, Big Youth\, The Aggrolites\, Tristan Palmer\, Sammy Dread\, Stephen Marley\, Ky-Mani Marley\, Ken Boothe\, Carlton and The Shoes\, Freddie McGregor\, The Meditations\, Rebelution\, Slightly Stoopid\, Fortunate Youth\, Hirie\, Dirty Heads\, Tribal Seeds\, Iration and many more. Likewise they have also shared stages with hip-hop legends such as KRS One\, Public Enemy\, Redman and Method Man of the Wu Tang Clan. As todays reggae music scene has branched out into multiple sub-genres\, Southern Californias Arise Roots has helped keep the ever evolving sound of reggae music grounded with their fresh take on roots music. The true essence of their music is caught in their live performances\, so make sure to keep an eye out for Arise Roots coming to a city near you.

SUMMARY:Skeleton Crewe ft. Rob Barraco\, Barry Sless\, Stephen Inglis\, Pete Sears & Jay Lane
DESCRIPTION:SKELETON CREWE ROB BARRACO\, BARRY SLESS\, STEPHEN INGLIS\, PETE SEARS & JAY LANEThe worlds of Hawaiian slack key guitar\, psychedelic pedal steel\, masterful\, keyboard\, bass & drum work converge as five virtuosos of the jam band scene announce the formation of Skeleton Krewe. Born from a serendipitous collaboration in early 2024\, this unique musical collective features Rob Barraco (Dark Star Orchestra\, Phil Lesh & Friends\, The Dead)\, Barry Sless (Bobby Weir and Wolf Bros\, David Nelson Band\, Phil Lesh and Friends)\, Grammy-nominated Hawaiian slack key guitarist Stephen Inglis (Billy Kreutzmann)\, Pete Sears (Jefferson Starship\, Hot Tuna\, Phil Lesh & Friends\, David Nelson Band) & Jay Lane (Dead & Company\, Bobby Weir & Wolf Bros\, Ratdog). The groups formation traces back to January 2024\, when Sless and Inglis first joined forces for what was meant to be a one-off performance. The chemistry was immediate and undeniable. The duos successful California shows caught the attention of keyboard virtuoso Rob Barraco\, who joined forces with Inglis during a Dark Star Orchestra show at the Hawaii Theatre in April 2024. The natural musical connection between all three players led to the formation of Skeleton Crewe Trio which in turn led to adding Barrys longtime musical partners Pete Sears s mastery of Hawaiian slack key guitar (hes a recipient of the prestigious Ki Hōʻalu Legacy Award)\, Slesss pioneering pedal steel work that has graced stages with Bob Weir and Phil Lesh\, Barracos sophisticated keyboard artistry that earned him a place in The Deads lineup (an experience that preceded nearly two decades holding the keyboardist chameleon role within Dark Star Orchestra)\, the dynamic improvisational work of Pete Sears on bass\, and the solid improvisational drumming of Jay Lane. Each performance\, Skeleton Crewe promises to offer high level artistry hosting an intimate evening of original compositions (many of which were written by Robert Hunter in collaboration with Barraco)\, Grateful Dead interpretations\, and dynamic improvisations that span genres from traditional Hawaiian to psychedelic Americana. SUMMARY:Clarion w/ special guest Novulent
DESCRIPTION:Formed\, almost accidentally\, in a shared east LA lockout\, the members of Clarion came together to write music together in late 2023. Anthony\, Saya and Joseph had all had spent time in the local DIY scene of East Los Angeles and in 2024 decided to record the songs they had been writing in a quick three-day sprint. They implemented efforts like layering multiple amps in stereo\, panned left to right with different tones\, to create an illusion of two guitarists. They tried every idea that came to mind\, allowing the songs to become fully realized instead of rushed. The result is an immersive and youthful mix of shoegaze\, post-punk\, and Japanese rock. These recordings became their debut EP\, simply titled Clarion. The song Hello Juliet from that EP quickly gained traction on TikTok when a fan-made video started to go viral. Of the song\, singer and bassist Saya Oliva says The song is about wanting to make it right with someone. Guitarist Anthony Sanchez adds\, I ended up writing the riff and song after one of my best friends passed\, and we werent on the best of terms when it happened so the lyrics really reflect that feeling of regret\, of wanting to start over. From there\, they were catapulted from their local DIY scene to a much bigger stage. Signing with Broke Records in 2025\, Hello Juliet continued to grow and find more listeners as it currently has more than 55 million streams across platforms. Opportunities to tour with artists like Violent Vira\, Rehash\, Mexican Slum Rats\, and Minds Eye followed in 2025 as the band honed their live set and added touring member Javier Flores on drums. Intent on fully earning their touring stripes in 2026\, they are heading out on the road supporting shoegaze legends Panchiko and embarking on their own national headline tour. As busy as they are\, community is at the core of Clarion. You can still find them jumping onstage at their local Dennys for a sold out DIY show or hosting their annual Christmas charity benefit show in Pomona. When they arent on tour\, theyre back in the room where they started jamming\, debating\, refining\, and crafting a sound big enough to swallow the space around them. Off the success of their debut EP\, theyve released a handful of singles leading into Blue Fairy\, their new EP out now. Having just completed their (nearly sold out) headline US tour\, the band is headed overseas in the fall to bring their electric live performance to the UK\, Ireland and Europe.
