Muskegon County Parks Millage Town Hall

Parks & Trails Millage Town Hall Muskegon County Parks invites residents from across the county to attend an upcoming town hall meeting to learn more about the proposed Parks & Trails Millage that will appear on the November 3, 2026 ballot. At these informational meetings, Muskegon County Parks staff and Parks Commission members will provide an overview of the proposed 0.5-mill levy, explain how funding would be allocated, and answer questions from community members. If approved by voters, the proposed millage would provide dedicated funding for parks, trails, and recreation facilities throughout Muskegon County. Under the proposal, 70% of millage revenue would support Muskegon County Parks, while up to 30% would be available to the county's 27 local units of government for eligible parks and recreation projects. Each town hall will include a short presentation followed by time for questions, comments, and open conversation.
