Directed by Brian Staufenbiel, the film celebrates Flicka the artist and humanitarian -- featuring archival performance footage, interviews with colleagues including Renée Fleming and Jake Heggie, and an intimate look at her remarkable post-retirement life bringing music to underserved communities. This screening is presented as a special preview event ahead of Flicka's live performance at the Fairfield Arts & Convention Center on Saturday, September 26th, when she returns to Fairfield for Our Children and Music, a fundraiser concert for Maharishi Schools.
