1: Strangers No More (FBC & La Cava)

Strangers No More: A Biblical Study of Migration (Judson Press 2026)<br><br>Rev. Leah Elrod, retired Presbyterian pastor and Rita Waggoner (First Baptist Church) will co-lead a series of six Bible study sessions on a Christian response to immigration. There will be readings, reflections on the Bible passages, large and small group discussions, exchange of current news, corporate prayer, and suggestions for life application of what we have learned.<br><br>The study sessions will be held on the second and fourth Sundays of the month from Sept. 13 - Nov. 22 from 3:00-4:30 pm. We will meet at First Baptich on Sept. 13 and at Cedar Heights Community Presbyterian Church on Sept. 27. We will continue alternating locations every other week.<br><br>After each session, the group and other friends are invited to go to a selected immigrant owned restaurant for dinner. Everyone is asked to pay for their own dinner. We will meet at the restaurant around 5:00 pm.
