Read, Learn, Grow in Lawrence County

This interactive story event is intended for preschool-aged children and runs from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. with small groups starting every 15 minutes. Learn More Each week has a different theme and participants will be able to engage in a story, play an interactive game, and take a tractor ride to the Apple Castle's orchard for a hands-on activity with Farmer Steve. Themes for the rest of the summer include: July 29: Sweet corn August 5: Sweet corn August 12: Apples The event costs $6 per child and $1 per adult. The Apple Castle is located at 227 State Route 18 in New Wilmington. Register online.
