Inspire

There is something about summer that makes us more willing to linger at a table, ask long-held questions, and say out loud the things we weren't sure we were allowed to say. That is why we are incredibly excited to announce that Inspire is finally here! Starting Monday, June 1st at 6:00 PM, we are kicking off a 10-week, wide-awake conversation about faith, doubt, God's dream for the world, and our actual lives. Whether you've been here for decades, just walked in a few months ago, or are checking things out for the very first time, you belong here before you believe anything in particular. Every week follows a simple, high-connection rhythm with plenty of room to breathe: Meal (30 mins): Eating together when available to unwind and connect. Opening (10 mins): One question to get everyone present. Teaching (10-15 mins): A short live talk or video on the week's theme. Conversation (35-40 mins): Open questions and real talk. Closing Prayer (5-10 mins): A grounding send-off. What Makes Inspire Different? Kin-dom, Not Conversion: We focus on God's dream for the whole world and our collective participation in it, rather than individual salvation. Seriously, But Not Literally: We bring history, context, and honest questions to the text, treating scripture as a living conversation, not a rigid code. Expansive Language: No single pronoun can contain the divine, so we intentionally use non-gendered language. Questions Over Certainty: Doubt and tough questions are celebrated.
