Public Library Outreach Portraiture: Learn and Create

Portraiture is one of the oldest and most fascinating genres in art history! Join the MFA at the James Weldon Johnson Library as we explore a selection of portraits from the museum's permanent collection, including generals, gods and goddesses, and everyday people who inspired artists throughout history. Then, create a portrait of your own! It can be a self-portrait or a portrait of a friend or family member.
