Admire a thought-provoking photography exhibition examining identity, place, and belonging through the work of artist Jessica Carter. Presented by the Gainesville Fine Arts Association, florida/woman features a series of photographic self-portraits reflecting Carter's experience as a transgender woman living in Florida and the complex relationship between identity and the natural landscape. Visitors can also attend the opening reception during Artwalk on July 31, alongside the Drink n Draw: A Community Exhibition in the front gallery.
