This summer, the City of Victoria and community partners are hosting free community events to bring everyone together! The summer lineup features fun community events for everyone such as evening concerts at the Charlson Thun Community Bandstand, the popular Truck Rodeo event, two Pop-Up Splash Pads at the Victoria Recreation Center, and so much more!  Victoria in Bloom To start off the season, this free community event invites locals and visitors alike to enjoy a full day of shopping, dining, live music, and festive spring-themed activities, all in support of small businesses and local makers. Presented as part of the Discover Victoria campaign, Victoria in Bloom is co-supported by the City of Victoria and the Victoria Business Association, and is designed to showcase the charm, creativity, and community spirit of downtown Victoria.  Date: Saturday, May 16, 2026 Time: Business and Activity Hours Vary Location: Downtown Victoria, Minnesota  Learn more about Victoria in Bloom.  Community Connections Victoria’s Community Connections Series is a multi-day program focused on connection, learning, movement, and community for our 55+ community members. Throughout the week, community members are invited to gather for a mix of educational sessions, wellness activities, social opportunities, and drop-in resources designed to support an active and engaged lifestyle. Whether you attend one session or spend the week exploring, our Community Connections Series is designed to feel welcoming, flexible, and community-centered. Stop by the Victoria Recreation Center on the third Wednesday of the month to join the chat and enjoy some coffee and donuts while gathering with other community members.   Learn more about the full Donuts in Victoria 2026 line-up.   Live by the Lake Concert Series The concert series features an exciting lineup of artists from all over the area that will play a variety of genres — from blues and country to classic rock and roll. Everyone is welcome to Victoria to view the classic cars on display, learn more about the showpieces from their owners, and meet other enthusiasts. This program provides the excitement and anticipation of catching a fish, access to equipment and a tutorial on the basics, and ultimately having the chance to bond with their local first responders. Registration is required.   Dates: Thursday, June 18, 2026 Time: 1:00-3:00 p.m. Location: Stieger Lake Fishing Pier (1398 Arboretum Blvd, Victoria, MN 55386) Learn more about Fishing with First Responders.    Bike Repair Clinic Stop by the Bayfront Park along the Lake Minnetonka Regional Trail for the Bike Repair Clinic. Get free basic bike tune-ups and repairs to get everything ready for the season. From fire trucks to snowplows, sheriff’s deputy cruisers to dump trucks, there’s something for everyone to see and touch. Whether you're a future firefighter, engineer, or just a lover of big machines, the Truck Rodeo gives you the chance to get up close and personal with the hardest-working vehicles around! Date: Thursday, July 16, 2026 (Weather Makeup Date: July 23, 2026) Time: 6:00–8:00 p.m.  Cost: Free Location:  Victoria Recreation Center, North Parking Lot (8475 Kochia Lane, Victoria, MN 55386) Please park in the south parking lots to attend the event.  Interested in more of a sensory-friendly experience (no music, less people) at the Truck Rodeo? Feel free to stop by the event earlier starting at 5:30 p.m. All of the vehicles will be in place but we ask that people please be respectful of reserving this time for those that need it.  Learn more about Truck Rodeo.  Night to Unite Night to Unite is a fun, one-night event where residents across the city host neighborhood block parties to connect, celebrate, and get to know one another better. The City of Victoria is excited to make this night even more special by inviting block parties to sign up for a city visit!
