Beyond the Game by Owen - Community Care Package Packing Event

Join us for an inspiring evening of kindness and community at Beyond the Game by Owen, a family-friendly volunteer event dedicated to serving individuals experiencing homelessness throughout the San Antonio area. Founded by local student Owen O'Brien, Beyond the Game by Owen was created to show that while sports teach teamwork and determination, life's greatest victories happen when we serve others. Our mission is simple: to inspire compassion, build stronger communities, and remind people that every act of kindness matters. During the event, volunteers of all ages will work together to assemble care packages filled with essential items such as bottled water, snacks, socks, hygiene products, and handwritten notes of encouragement. These care packages will be distributed to individuals experiencing homelessness throughout our community. Whether you're coming as an individual, family, sports team, church, business, or community organization, your time and generosity can make a meaningful difference. We are incredibly grateful to Pedrotti's Ranch, our Founding Community Partner, for generously hosting this event and helping make this opportunity possible. Together, we can show that it's about more than the game--it's about the people.
