April 24, 1925 - October 15, 2023 Phyllis Thomas, 98, of Miami Gardens, passed away October 15, 2023.  Born April 24, 1925 in Trinidad Tobago to Fitzgerald and Rachel (Mapp) Padmore, she made her career as a patient care assistant for a nursing home. Preceded in death by her husband Roderick, Phyllis is survived by her son Leonard (Beverly) Thomas, daughters Glorida (Glen) Sobers, Ingrid (Charles) Baker and Lenora Osouna, eleven grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, October 28th, 12 noon – 3:00 pm with a prayer service beginning at 1:00 pm at Landmark Funeral Home, 4200 Hollywood Boulevard.
