Convocation

You are cordially invited to attend UMA's annual Convocation ceremony. This year's ceremony will launch the 2026-27 academic theme, Critical Thinking in the Age of AI, with perspectives from Professor Gregory Fahy, a student, and the keynote address by John Warner, author of More Than Words: How to Think About Writing in the Age of AI, this year's selected theme-related book. The ceremony will also honor student Rising Scholars and feature the presentation of faculty awards. A reception will immediately follow the program.
