Where Did Summer Go? - A Fall Basket Class will be taught on Sept. 10 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Nexus Park by Pat Carothers. To register, call Parks and Rec at Nexus Park 812-376-2680. This basket, a miniature version of a bushel basket like those found at apple orchards as fall crops were harvested, is the right size for rolls or breads on your holiday table. The basket 8 deep and 8 high, will be woven in fall colors. The class, open to all levels of students, is limited to 10 students ensuring individualized instruction. Registration deadline is Friday, Sept. 4. Cost of the class is $47. Students should bring an old towel, scissors, a small, flat-blade screwdriver, and a spray bottle for water.
