Brackenridge Park Historic Tour - NEW ROUTE!

Join the Brackenridge Park Conservancy on Saturday, December 12, 2026 as we debut a brand-new route for our Brackenridge Park Historic Tour! Led by Scott Anderson, a certified professional tour guide and current Board Member of the San Antonio Guild of Professional Tour Guides (SA Guild), this approximately one-mile walking tour will explore the east side of the San Antonio River and introduce guests to a new collection of historic sites, stories, and features within Brackenridge Park. Along the way, guests will learn about Koehler Park, the Low Water Crossing, the works of Dionicio Rodriguez, the San Antonio Zoo, and more. Tour Details Date: Tuesday, November 17 Meeting Location: Outside the Joske Pavilion, 531 Brackenridge Way, San Antonio, TX 78209 Arrival: 9:15-9:30 a.m. Tour Begins: 9:30 a.m. Length: Approximately 1 mile Guests are asked to arrive between 9:15 and 9:30 a.m. so the tour can begin promptly at 9:30 a.m. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a water bottle.
