Ribbon Cutting: Project Ottalaus - Men's Mental Health NPO

THIS IS A RIBBON CUTTING WE REALLY WANT YOU TO SHOW UP FOR. On Tuesday, August 25th at 5:00 PM, the Punta Gorda Chamber of Commerce has the honor of cutting the ribbon for Project Ottalaus, a local nonprofit dedicated to MEN'S MENTAL HEALTH. And this one means a little more. Men are often expected to be the strong ones. The providers. The protectors. The ones who carry the weight, figure it out and keep moving forward. But strong men struggle, too. Sometimes the strongest thing a man can do is admit that life is heavy, start a conversation, or simply realize that he doesn't have to carry everything alone. That's why organizations willing to step into this space matter. And it's why we're asking our community to SHOW UP on August 25th. Come meet the people behind Project Ottalaus. Learn about their mission. It's not simply welcoming another organization or cutting another ribbon. It's bringing people together around something that can make our community stronger. Bring a friend. Bring a coworker. Bring one of the guys in your life. Better yet, bring someone who needs to know that asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness.
