Memorial Day Ceremony

Join the City of Largo as we honor our fallen soldiers during the annual Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday, May 25, 2026, from 9-10am at the Military Court of Honor in Largo Central Park. The ceremony will include a color guard presentation, live music, a wreath presentation in remembrance of our fallen soldiers, and keynote presentations from local Largo veterans.  The event is free and open to the public. Largo Central Park is located at 101 Central Park Drive. For more information, call 727-587-6720.   As a reminder, the City of Largo facilities will be closed on Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day. The City honors and expresses our gratitude to all our nation's heroes who have made the greatest sacrifice.   Beginning in early May, commemorative banners honoring fallen service members who once called Largo home will be displayed along West Bay Drive. Community members may submit a fallen service member for future banner recognition by completing the online form at Largo.com/Veterans. To be eligible, fallen service members must have had Largo listed as their hometown of death while in service.
