About This Event

This gentle, modified yoga class is led by Beth Broodo, MS, LPC, RYT, from Jewish Family Service, and is open to all women and welcomes participants of all physical abilities and ages. Whether you're navigating trauma, anxiety, stress, recovering from illness, or simply interested in yoga and meditation, this class offers a supportive space to move, breathe, and heal. Learn pain-free techniques and guided meditation practices to support your health and well-being. Location: The JCC Mind & Body Room - 7900 Northaven Road, Dallas, TX Cost: Free to join (there is no need to be a current JCC member or JFS client) Dates: Meets Tuesdays & Thursdays from 3:00-4:00pm Facilitated by: Beth Broodo, MS, LPC, RYT What to Wear: Please wear comfortable, breathable clothing that allows for easy movement and relaxation. Think stretchy skirts or pants, leggings, joggers, or shorts paired with a t-shirt, tank top, or long sleeve layer. Since this is a gentle, non-intensive class, there's no need for high-performance athletic wear--just something you feel good sitting, stretching, and breathing in. Layers are encouraged so you can stay cozy. Yoga is typically practiced barefoot, but you're welcome to wear socks or shoes if preferred.
