COLLAGE NIGHT w/ ASHLEY LAGRANGE One-day | 5:30 - 8:30PM | Thursday, August 13 | Donation Based In this workshop, participants will explore collage art as a medium for political agitation, self-reflection, and expression. Together, we'll gather inspiration from collage artists who have created intentional Agitprop and then be provided with prompts and materials to create their own. Session theme: Black August __ Ashley Marie Lagrange, (They/Them) is a therapist, coach, and collage artist born, raised and currently residing in Queens, New York to a multigenerational household Dominican l household. Ashley works in the day as a politicized therapist and coach for the QTBIPOC population which stemmed from their lived experience with madness and grassroots peer support organizing. Ashley is also a Collage Artist, having taught and facilitated various classes and workshop spaces on the analog art form. Ashley is a member of DegrowNYC and previously sat as their Propaganda Chair.
