Broadway is going car-free this August! 🚶🚴☀️ On August 1, 8, and 15, NYC DOT's Summer Streets returns, transforming Broadway into a vibrant public space from the Brooklyn Bridge all the way to Dyckman Street--right next to Anne Loftus Playground at the northern end of the route! From 7:00 AM-3:00 PM, enjoy miles of open streets filled with walkers, runners, cyclists, live performances, fitness classes, interactive art, giveaways, and so much more. Whether you're exploring Fort Tryon Park, heading to a fitness class, or simply enjoying a summer stroll, it's the perfect way to experience Upper Manhattan without the traffic.
