About this event
Family Kite Day Has Been Rescheduled to October 3, 2026. Enjoy a day of kite flying and fun with family and friends at Harrer Park. Watch fantastic kite flying demonstrations from Chicago Kite Company. You can bring a kite or buy one from Chicago Kite at the event. There will be plenty of space to set up your picnic area and fly your own kite. This event is free and open to the public. We look forward to seeing you then for a fun day of flying, family time, and outdoor fun! Thank you for your understanding, and we hope to see you on October 3!
