Arbor Day Tree Planting

Members of the Tree Board, Village Board and Students from Brooks Hill and Johanna Perrin Celebrate Arbor Day. 4/21/26Students from Johanna Perrin and Brooks Hill, together with members of the Village of Fairport Tree Board and the Village Board planted 2 two trees on Hulburt Rd, with the help of the Fairport Department of Public Works in celebration of Arbor Day. One of the trees was a Blaze Autumn Maple and the other was an Ivory Silk Lilac . The trees were chosen by the students from the list of native trees managed by the DPW and the Tree Board. The plantings on Tuesday, April 21st were the 32nd and 33rd trees planted this spring by the DPW.Find out more about the Tree Board here.
