A Santa Cruz native, he holds a B.S. in Biology, an M.A. in Education, and an M.S. in Environmental Engineering. His background includes ecological fieldwork in Central and South America, environmental compliance for the City of Watsonville, and science education. Nathan is passionate about connecting people with the natural history and ecology of California's watersheds through engaging, hands-on learning and conservation.
