Family Promise

We're excited to welcome up to four families through the Family Promise program the week of August 9-15. During their stay, these families will spend their evenings and nights at our church while working toward stable housing, employment, and a brighter future for their children. There are several meaningful ways to get involved throughout the week: Provide an evening meal and, if you'd like, join the families for dinner and conversation. Serve as an evening host, spending time with children by playing games, making crafts, or simply offering a welcoming presence. Be an overnight host, staying in a private room at the church to help families feel safe and cared for. Overnight hosts also set out breakfast items and start a pot of coffee in the morning. Whether you can volunteer once or multiple times, your presence helps create a warm, welcoming environment for families during an important season in their lives.
