Walking with Ancestors: November Labyrinth Walk Friday November 13th, 2026, 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm Suggested Donation: $5 Facilitated by Grace Franklin We do not walk alone, we are walking with Mother Earth. ----------- What to expect at a labyrinth led by Grace: We walk in meditation attuned to the movement in our physical body, movement in our minds, and attentive to the natural world. Experiencing sights, sounds, smells... love with nature. We walk in silence, and we will share our experience at the end of the walk. This walk is geared towards seasoned labyrinth walkers, but new walkers are welcome. Grace has been enjoying labyrinths for 20 years. Her approach focuses on the opportunity a labyrinth walk gives us to connect deeply with the natural world in which we walk, using our sense doors, not our thinking mind. We will walk in silence to hear what the labyrinth and its native occupants are communicating. We also learn to focus on how our body moves through the labyrinth, the rhythm of our breathing, stepping and pausing. A labyrinth walk is an act of communion with creation. Grace is a long time SC volunteer and mindfulness practitioner. Hobbies include gardening, bird watching, tai chi, and yoga. Labyrinth walks are times for quiet reflection. Due to their nature, silent walking is encouraged. Our labyrinth is located on Wengert Road, at the second drive to the right. Please wear comfortable shoes. Everyone is welcome!
