Bike Ride to Abbotts

Nothing says summer like a bike ride and ice cream with friends. Join ROCovery for one of our favorite summertime activities throughout the season. If you wish, bring money for ice cream. All rides, are weather dependent, so please check this event page the morning of the event. In the case of heavy rain or thunder the ride will be canceled. Check our Facebook or reach out through messenger for any last minute changes or updates. Helmets are required for all ROCovery rides- there will be NO exceptions to this. We have a limited number of bikes and helmets to loan- if you need one, email us with your name and height ahead of time before the center closes at 1 PM on Friday at contact@rocoveryny.org mailto:contact@rocoveryny.org . **We will be starting the ride promptly at 11 AM so please plan on arriving before we start! ** Meeting in the parking lot of Lakeview Community Church 30 Long Pond Rd, Rochester, NY 14612. Helpful things to bring along for the ride would be plenty of water, a snack, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Difficulty Rating: Intermediate: We will be biking on the parkway bike path and looping back along the lakeshore. This ride is short in distance with lots of hills. This event is for individuals who are 18 years or older. All our classes and events are free and open to anyone with at least 48-hours of continuous sobriety.
