Honey Tasting at Edgewood Apiaries

Tour Edgewood Apiaries & Farm including a curated honey tasting of four natural honey varieties from across VA and six culinary infusions (hot, lavender, vanilla, chocolate, chai spice & a whiskey-barrel aged (alcohol free). We'll begin in the tractor barn & learn how colony components are structured then take a walk down to one of the bee yards - depending upon the weather. We'll tour the Honey House where the liquid gold is processed and bottled and end with the tasting experience. Closed toed shoes or boots are required and each participant must sign a release of liability. Lunch stop will be at Lola's Farmhouse Bistro (pay on your own), a lovely restaurant set in an original 1865 general store.
