About This Event

Bring your lunch. Feed you curiosity. Every month, drop in during your lunch break for a casual hour of art history conversations. No prior art history education or experience is required! Led by art history educator and self-proclaimed art lover Kate Gibbs, each unique session will touch on a range of themes--from deeper dives into our current exhibitions to further explorations into overlooked artists and art history movements. The gatherings accommodate 20 spots, affording an intimate environment that encourages conversation, questions, and participation. This month, Kate traces cross-cultural exchange in 1970s art, including the work of Moki Cherry and others artists who blurred borders between countries, disciplines, and ways of living and making.
