SUMMARY:Madahoochi 30th Anniversary
DESCRIPTION:MadahoochiOctober 24\, 2026Atomic GarageDoors: 8:00PMShow: 8:30
 PMThirty years of music\, friendship\, memories\, family\, mayhem\, and un
forgettable moments on and off stage is something worth celebrating. Madah
oochi has been delivering original music providing those moments\, and bri
nging people together in the St. Louis area and around the midwest for thr
ee decades now and we invite you to celebrate with us at Atomic By Jamo on
October 24.Combining notes and elements of rock\, blues\, world beat\, fu
nk\, and much more with pop sensibilities\, soaring harmonies\, and well c
rafted original songs\, Madahoochi has been one of the quintessential midw
estern genre bending and description defying bands on the scene for as lon
g as most can remember. Over the span of 3 full length original albums and
multiple EP releases\, and the legendary Live in the Loop live album\, co
untless tour stops throughout the midwest\, countless mind blowing experim
ental and improvisational jams while being a must-see\, high energy late n
ight fixture on the festival circuit\, their legendary Madahoochi Monday p
arties at Ciceros\, and more Madahoochi has created a legacy and culture o
f joy and community amongst their loyal following.Over the last 30 years\,
there have been incredible hi-lights and unforgettable moments with the H
ooch. In a time where the festival circuit was vast and impressive in the
midwestern portion of the country\, Madahoochi was a key part of several o
f these large- scale\, multi-day events\, including raging sets at Wakarus
a\, 10K Lakes\, Salmon Fest\, and MoRoots. Who could forget the amazing su
mmer night under the Arch opening for Little Feat in front of an amazing t
hrong of St. Louis music freaks on the steps and by the river?. We could f
ill pages with fond memories of these amazing musical moments. The legacy
and lore of the Hooch grew with their hi-wire act and legendary live perfo
rmances which were built around the amazing original catalogue of music as
well as their undeniable synergy and chemistry with the audience.Like any
thing that is finely crafted and pure\, that takes time\, effort and conti
nuity. So. just try to imagine having a weekly Monday night musical reside
ncy in a basement venue room in a low ceiling club every monday night for
years starting at 9pm in a dark shotgun room packed full of frenzied fans\
 , friends\, local musicians\, curious onlookers\, industry folks drinking
on their night off and more all singing along and losing their minds.. EVE
RY Monday night. For years\, thats exactly what Madahoochi did with their
Madahoochi mondays at Ciceros. Playing high energy\, multi-set\, and origi
nal shows that were so vibrant and important that several of those shows w
ere recorded and later released as the Live in the Loop album. You can hea
r the audience screaming and calling for more between songs over and over
again. Its a glimpse into the mysticism and magic of a time period in the
St. Louis music scene.. AND it was always on a Monday night. Those weekly
Mondays helped to create a vast\, loyal\, caring\, and communal following
who still loves this band 30 years later.
