A full-service, acute care hospital, SMH-Venice was built to serve the growing south Sarasota County area and enhance healthcare across the region. When it opens, the hospital will offer a full slate of medical and surgical care — from cardiology, orthopedics and intensive care to surgery, rehabilitation services and comprehensive labor, delivery, recovery and post-partum care.
