Enjoy an exhilarating 5K run, jog, or walk through Historic Downtown Acworth and along the shores of beautiful Lake Acworth. Acworth Parks, Recreation, and Community Resource Department is also excited to share that the Acworth Turkey Chase is now an official <a href='https://www.atlantatrackclub.org/peachtree'>Peachtree Road Race</a> qualifier!</p> <p>The City of Acworth Parks, Recreation, and Community Resource Department presents this annual Thanksgiving tradition to benefit the Tackle Hunger Program. For the past ten years, Turkey Chase runners have helped stock local food pantries during the holiday season. Be sure to save the date for this special event.  Participants of all ages and abilities are welcome.
