Guided Art Walk with Oluwafemi

Stretch your legs and see the Bartram's Mile Trail from a new perspective in this guided walk with artist Oluwafemi, who recently created new interpretive installations showcasing the many stories held by in this landscape. You'll hear directly from the artist about how the pieces were developed, including how the distinct locations inspired each design. The walk will begin on the North Mile, near the future site of the Schuylkill Crossing swing bridge and follow the Bartram's Mile Trail south to the Sankofa Community Farm at Bartram's Garden. The route is just under a mile, not including the distance to the starting location or from the endpoint, and includes both flat and hilly areas on a paved recreational trail. Participants should dress comfortably for walking and standing outdoors, including sun and insect protection, and bring a refillable water bottle.
