Fronted by Professor Louie - keyboardist, accordionist, and longtime collaborator with The Band - the group has released 18 acclaimed albums including their 2025 release on Woodstock Records, Crowin' Around, played on over 180 radio stations across the country. The group continues to expand the boundaries of Americana and blues. Their dynamic shows feature crowd favorites from their original catalog, hits Louie co-produced with The Band (including Atlantic City and Blind Willie McTell), and songs steeped in the rich tradition of American roots music. Professor Louie worked with The Band for over 16 years co-producing three albums with them. Louie has a long list of productions, Guy Davis, Commander Cody, Graham Parker, Four Men And A Dog to mention a few. The Crowmatix lineup includes the soaring vocals and percussion of Miss Marie, bassist Frank Campbell, guitarists Todd Mihan, drummer Dan Hickey - a seasoned ensemble with heart, groove, and tight musical chemistry.
