Health Markets (Your Health Matters) Lunch and Learn​

Wayne Mobile Health Unit (WMHU) in partnership with Health Markets (Your Health Matters) Lunch and Learn​, is offering the following services: WMHU SERVICES: Blood Pressure Screening General Health Screenings: Complete Metabolic Panel: Kidney, liver, glucose, electrolytes; Lipid Panel: Cholesterol and cardiovascular risk; Hemoglobin A1c: Diabetes/prediabetes screening; TSH: Thyroid function; and CBC with Differential: Blood and immune system Standard Influenza vaccinations *Subject to availability. Insurance billed for vaccines. (There will be no cost to an individual who does not have insurance coverage). Language Line Appointments not required Parental/Guardian authorization is required for any individuals under the age of 18 for all services outside of the HIV Screening (13 years and up). Other Services that may be available: HIV testing (13+ years old, results within 20 minutes) Linkage to care and community resources What to Expect: * If you have questions concerning vaccine guidance, please call the WHMU at: 313-448-9850 * A qualified healthcare professional will provide all medical services * Please allow 15 minutes for observation post-vaccine
