Local Planning Agency

The Local Planning Agency (LPA) consists of appointed members selected from the community. It has the responsibility for making recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners regarding amendments to the Pinellas County Comprehensive Plan. The LPA also reviews amendments to the Land Development Code, zoning change requests, and a variety of other items to ensure that they are consistent with the Comprehensive Plan.
