age 15 years and up Wednesdays, September 16-October 7, 6:30-8 p.m. Do you know someone in the Deaf community and want to communicate better? Do you want to stimulate your brain, enhance cognitive abilities and improve visual-spatial skills? These are some of the benefits to learning American Sign Language (ASL). Join Nanci Farrell, a teacher from St. Rita School for the Deaf, to learn about Deaf culture, fingerspelling the alphabet, numbers and basic signs for quick communication.
