Town of Peterborough - The Dispatch April 29th, 2026 Timeline for Peterborough’s Annual Town Meeting Tuesday, May 12th: Ballot / Elections (Second Session) (Held in Upper Hall of the Townhouse, 1 Grove St) Wednesday, May 13th: Town Meeting (Third Session) (Held in Upper Hall of the Townhouse, 1 Grove St) Please note that the Ballot Session on May 12th will take place in the Upper Hall of the Town House, NOT at the Community Center.   The Town of Peterborough announces that the Elm Street Bridge will be fully closed to all traffic beginning April 20, 2026, to allow for repairs and rehabilitation. The closure is expected to remain in place for approximately eight (8) weeks, weather dependent. Elm Street is still accessible from Route 101.Traffic control measures and detour routes will be clearly posted. Residents and commuters are advised to plan accordingly and allow extra travel time.The Town appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation during this important infrastructure improvement project.   It’s time to license your dog(s) for 2026. Per NH State law, all dogs must be licensed annually by April 30th. By engaging the community, identifying shared priorities, and organizing insights into clear direction, the committee helps ensure the Master Plan reflects the community’s values and provides a usable roadmap for future decision‑making.
