South Strabane Township Public Hearing

Published in Observer-Reporter on July 20, 2026: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors of South Strabane Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. at the South Strabane Township Municipal Building, located at 550 Washington Road, Washington, Pennsylvania 15301. The purpose of this hearing is to present the regulations for Fossil Fuel Electric Generating Facilities as a proposed amendment to the South Strabane Township Zoning Ordinance. The proposed Ordinance is to regulate Zoning and Land Use as it pertains to the use of Fossil Fuel Electric Generating Facilities Interested persons may appear at the aforementioned hearing to offer testimony in favor of or in opposition of the Fossil Fuel Electric Generating Facilities Ordinance. Pertinent records and the proposed Ordinance may be inspected prior to the hearing. A copy of the Ordinance may be viewed at the South Strabane Township Building, located at 550 Washington Road, Washington, PA 15301, the Observer-Reporter and the Washington County Law Library.
