Known for her kindness and lifelong dedication to service, Kathrine G. McGovern, along with her late husband, John P. McGovern, MD, helped shape Houston into the vibrant, compassionate city it is today. On Tuesday, September 15, we invite you to celebrate her birthday by giving back to one of the places she loved most -- the McGovern Centennial Gardens.
