Family Hui Hawai'i is back with more opportunities to create and connect! Explore creativity through stories, art, music, movement, and play! These interactive workshops help children and their caregivers build social-emotional skills, strengthen family connections, and have fun creating together. Siblings welcome! Register: Expressive Arts Workshop Oahu with Oahu Registration Page Oceans of Emotion Monday, August 10th 10:00-11:00am Explore the colorful world beneath the sea and discover how our feelings are as unique as the many wonders of the ocean. Families will explore their emotions while creating their own colorful Feelings Fish. Naming Feelings Monday, August 24th 10:00-11:00am Learn to recognize and name big feelings. Families will create colorful Emotion Rocks- a fun tool for storytelling, imaginative play, and sharing how we feel with others. Best suited for children between the ages of 2 to 5. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required.
