The day-long event will feature: Nature Nick’s Animal Adventures FREE Face Painting Planting Roots: Save the Soil American Glider and Stars & Stripes Crafts Scavenger Hunts Character Meet n’ Greets Button Making Slime Bar Lawn Games Food Trucks (parking lot) NY Islanders tent (parking lot) Wildlife Center of Long Island Center for Science Teaching & Learning  “Spring Fest is one of my favorite events to attend throughout the year,” Supervisor DeSena noted. “The fresh blooms at Clark Botanic Garden make for a perfect backdrop as we come together to celebrate the long-awaited return of the gentle spring air and gorgeous weather.” Attendees can enjoy the 12 manicured acres of Clark Botanic Garden, which include labeled gardens, trees, ponds, and streams. North Hempstead officials will also showcase the work of students from local school districts who participated in the Town’s collaborative Earth Day arts and crafts project. Clark Botanic Garden is located at 193 I.U. Willets Road in Albertson.
