Film Screening: Discard Records by sTo Len

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=]Join us on Thursday, November 19, 2026 from 6:30 -- 8:30pm for a screening of Discard Records, a documentary film by MFTA Artist-in-Residence sTo Len exploring New York City's waste management systems. Len began creating the film as he worked as the Public Artist in Residence with the NYC Department of Sanitation, and digitized over 500 hours of the agency's archival training videos, union films, public service announcements, interviews, environmental programs, cartoons, commercial campaigns, and TV news broadcasts. This screening of Discard Records will include the latest iteration of the film and include addition footage, as he continues to weave together the narrative of New York City's waste.
