Men's RetreatSacred Masculinity Through Spiritual Awakening Fri., Sept. 18, 6 - 9 p.m. andSat., Sept. 19, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.,Community Center, $115 (Includes lunch on Saturday.) Register here. Featuring Doug Good Feather and Josh ReevesMusic: Featuring Barry Ebert and Thom Lich Experience a powerful weekend with interactive processes, music, drumming and inspiring presentations featuring Doug Good Feather and Rev Josh Reeves. THINGS TO KNOW The activities during sessions are designed to strengthen spiritual connections with yourself and other men. Movement, meditation, and deep internal work Time for journaling and introspection Prayer treatment (if and as requested) Walk the labyrinth (during lunch) Drumming THINGS TO BRING Water bottle A pen/pencil to write with. Paper will be supplied. Drum, rattles, noise makers, if you have them An items of significance to place on the altar An open heart and mind Wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothes ABOUT DOUG GOOD FEATHER Doug is a counselor and Executive Director of the Non-profit Lakota Way Healing Center which is focused on helping the Lakota people, Veterans/Civilians with PTSD, Addiction, Suicide prevention and helping the homeless with basic needs. For over a decade, Doug has traveled around the world doing workshops, speeches, performing arts, media appearances as a professional speaker educating and using dance and the philosophy of the Lakota culture to heal and inspire others. He has given over 1,000 presentations for corporations, associations, government agencies and nonprofit organizations. Doug is an author of the book, Think Indigenous and through his Lakota art, a clothing designer. His love for life, his culture, family and people are what drives him today as he continues to help the world. Learn more about Doug Good Feather here.
